Read this first
This is a pure count. It lists the home care offices on the St. Charles side of the river with the most Google reviews, whether or not they say a word about memory. It is here because a lot of the families who read this site live in St. Charles County, and the front page ranking leans toward the St. Louis side.
A review count measures how many people wrote something. It does not measure care, and it certainly does not measure whether anyone there knows how to sit with a person who is frightened at dusk. For the offices that do describe memory support, the memory support table is the one to read.
The 12 most-reviewed home care offices in St. Charles County
Twelve offices in St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon and Wentzville, ordered by Google review count on September 12, 2026. One of the twelve is a Medicaid program rather than an agency, and the table says which.
St. Charles County has its own set of home care offices, and families there often find that the well-known St. Louis names either do not cross the river or cross it with a different local office and a different phone number. This table is the county on its own. The item set is every listing in our file with a St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Wentzville or Dardenne Prairie address and at least one review, cut to the top twelve by count.

Ratings and counts are Google's on the pull date and change daily. Notes are drawn from each company's own website, read on the pull date, and say nothing about quality. Offices marked not reviewed may well offer memory support; we did not read their sites for this page.
Reading this table honestly
The top row is not an agency. FreedomCare is a program through which Missouri Medicaid pays a family member or friend to provide care, and its review count reflects a very different kind of relationship from hiring an agency caregiver. We keep it in a pure count because leaving it out would be editing the data; we keep it out of every best-of ranking because it is not the same kind of thing.
Below it, the gap between 88 reviews and 7 reviews is mostly a gap in age and marketing effort. A small office with eight five-star reviews may be excellent. A long-established office with fifty reviews at 4.6 may also be excellent. The table cannot tell you which, and we would rather say so than let the order imply something it does not.
Five of the twelve appear again on the memory support table, where the entry test is stricter: the company's own site has to describe dementia or memory support. If memory is the reason you are reading this site, start there.
Featured placement
New Plan Care Solutions
Independently owned and operated in-home support serving St. Louis and St. Charles counties. Our number one pick on the memory support ranking.
About this listing. New Plan Care Solutions is a client of OwnersFirm, the company that publishes this site, and compensates us for placement. It has no Google listing yet, so it cannot appear in the table above and does not, and its Chesterfield office serves both sides of the river. Its place at the top of our ranking is an editorial score against the five criteria on the how-we-rate page, not a review count. Its services are non-medical: routine, meals, companionship, overnight presence and a break for the family caregiver. Nothing it does is a diagnosis or a treatment, and no one here is a clinician.
